$300 off (23%)
The Motorola Razr Ultra (2025) has received a rare $300 discount at Amazon before Black Friday. That brings the powerful and stylish flip to a much cheaper price. If you don’t want to wait for the holiday shopping spree, now’s a great time to save!
Buy at Amazon
Featuring Qualcomm’s premium Snapdragon 8 Elite processor under the hood, this clamshell foldable easily beats the Galaxy Z Flip 7 when it comes to raw horsepower. Not convinced? Check out how it compares to Samsung’s stylish option via our Galaxy Z Flip 7 vs Motorola Razr Ultra review. Fast-loading apps and a smooth daily experience are important, but so is display quality. Motorola delivers plenty on this front as well. You get vivid colors, excellent brightness, and up to a 165Hz refresh rate. As for size, the cover display measures 4 inches (just a tad smaller than the Z Flip 7), and a splendid 7-inch main display.
This Motorola phone is no slouch when it comes to capturing memories. In fact, as you can see in our Razr Ultra review, it delivers fantastic photos in various settings. And sure, its 50MP main and 50MP ultra-wide lenses tend to capture slightly warmer colors, but that’s certainly not a drawback.
Here’s the bottom line: the Razr Ultra (2025) is easily the best flip phone Motorola has ever released. With a flagship processor, premium design, gorgeous displays, and solid camera performance, it gives you everything you can possibly need. Plus, it’s now $300 more affordable with Amazon’s early Black Friday offer.

Motorola’s Edge 50 Neo promises five years of major Android updates
While not considered a flagship model, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo, released last year, promises five years of major Android OS updates. The phone also will receive five years of security updates. Motorola’s mid-range “G-series” phones usually receive one to two Android OS updates.
Motorola pushes out Android 16 earlier than in the past
Expanded Battery data will be available fpr Motorola phones in Android 16
Those who like to keep track of battery data will have the ability to go through expanded information available in Android 16 such as battery health. Users will be able to see new device diagnostics and use component health monitoring tools to make sure that the hardware on their Motorola phones is working correctly. Now that Motorola has started pushing out Android 16, we should hear about other phones from the company that are ready to be updated.
Motorola’s U.S. market share is 4.29% as of the quarter that ended last month. That would place Motorola behind Apple (55.67%), Samsung (22.46%), Google (5.16%) in North America. As of the first quarter of 2025, Motorola had a 5% share of the global market as Lenovo-Motorola is ranked 8th worldwide. Growth has come from the Asian-Pacific market led by India. The premium Edge and foldable Razr series were the top sellers.

Motorola Edge 60 Pro is now receiving Android 16. | Image credit-PhoneArena
As of the second quarter of this year, the Razr owns 28% of the global foldable market. That is enough for Motorola to capture second place in the market ahead of Samsung but behind Huawei (Yes, Huawei). Motorola’s global foldable market share doubled year-over-year.
Eventually, Motorola lost its way and is trying to continue to mount a comeback. To that end, offering faster Android updates and giving its phones longer support should help improve demand for Motorola phones.

The Razr (2025) is $171 cheaper ahead of Prime Day
$171 off (24%)
The Motorola Razr (2025) has just become a no-brainer for flip phone fans on a budget. Right now, Amazon gives you a superb $171 discount on the variant in Lightest Sky. This price cut significantly exceeds all other promos we’ve come across, so it should definitely be on your radar.
Buy at Amazon
The Razr (2025) brings quite a lot to the table for its current asking price. For starters, you’re getting two gorgeous displays: a 3.6-inch OLED cover panel and a 6.9-inch main touchscreen with excellent colors and superb brightness. Sure, the outer display isn’t quite as large as on the Razr Ultra (2025), but at least it’s bigger than the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.
When it comes to performance, this Android phone’s MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chip doesn’t win any trophies. As our Razr (2025) review shows, the device is pretty much identical to its predecessor in raw horsepower. But is that really a dealbreaker? You still get a smooth and reliable performance with daily tasks — more than enough for a flip phone in this price range.
What about camera capabilities? While it certainly won’t be your primary pick for dedicated photography, the device captures very good-looking images. Expect vivid colors and excellent detail for the most part. That said, since it lacks a dedicated telephoto sensor (it packs a 50MP main and a 12MP ultra-wide lens), you can’t take gorgeous zoom photos.
Bottom line — the Razr (2025) isn’t the best flip phone out there. But it holds its own quite well against other mid-range foldables. And now that it’s cheaper than ever, it’s impossible to pass up. Get yours and save $171 before it’s too late.

Feast your eyes on the sub-6mm Motorola Edge 70 in a newly leaked promo video!
Is this the Moto X70 Air or the Motorola Edge 70?
If that’s the case and Blass managed to get his hands on official promotional material for the Motorola Edge 70 already, the chances of seeing the phone take on the aforementioned Galaxy S25 Edge and iPhone Air in countries like India, various European markets, and perhaps even the US in 2025 are all of a sudden pretty solid.

It may not be thinner than an iPhone Air, but the Edge 70 is still impressively slim. | Image Credit — Evan Blass on X
That means very few technical details are etched in stone, although if you look closely, you’ll notice that the Pantone Lily Pad colorway rumored a few days ago is now essentially confirmed, and the same goes for a primary 50MP rear-facing camera with optical image stabilization.
Can Motorola provide stiff competition for Samsung and Apple?
That’s definitely way too early to tell, but the first signs are undeniably promising, starting with a vague but thrilling “sub-6mm” waist prediction from the man, the legend Evan Blass.

The Edge 70 is unlikely to rival the camera capabilities of the S25 Edge or iPhone Air, and that’s okay with me. | Image Credit — Evan Blass on X
But once again, this is unlikely to be a true rivalry, as Motorola’s first ultra-thin handset… of the last few years is almost definitely not a costly flagship. If the Edge 60 is any indication, this bad boy could be priced at around €500 ($585) in Europe with 12GB RAM, 512GB storage, and… the biggest battery that can possibly be squeezed into that sleek and elegant body.
In addition to Pantone Lily Pad, the Motorola Edge 70 is today depicted in “Gadget Gray” and “Bronze Green” hues, but even though those are all very eye-catching and nice, it’s not clear if any of them will use the company’s signature vegan leather finish or go the more conventional shiny glass route.
Just how excited should you be here?
Yes, I’d love to see the Edge 60‘s MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC replaced with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset (ideally, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4), but because that wish is unlikely to come true, I’ll just focus on dreaming of a stylish and unusually robust Edge 70 with a 5,000mAh or so battery under the hood and a sub-$500 price point in the US. I know, that’s also hard to pull off for Motorola, but not impossible. Not in my (dream) world, at least.

The Motorola Edge (2024) is once again bundled with a fantastic $349.99 gift
Motorola Edge (2024) + $349.99 gift
Right now, Motorola bundles its Edge (2024) with a free Lenovo Tab Plus, making its mid-ranger way more attractive. Although you’d have to pay full price for the smartphone, the official store lets you trade in an eligible device and unlock a discount. Don’t miss out.

Save $250 on the Edge (2024) at Amazon
$250 off (45%)
If you’d rather get a discount on your next mid-range phone instead of a free tablet, head over to Amazon. Right now, the e-commerce giant lets you save $250 on the Edge (2024), knocking it just under $300.
Buy at Amazon
Granted, there’s no price cut on the smartphone, but you can still unlock some savings with eligible device trade-ins. Truth be told, this promo is worth considering even without the trade-in credit. After all, you’re saving $349.99 on a tablet the whole family can use. Don’t really like this bundle offer? No worries. You can get the Edge (2024) at Amazon for just under $300 — 45% off its original price. This mid-ranger certainly isn’t the hottest option out there, but it’s still a proper device worth your attention. It features a fantastic 6.6-inch OLED display with excellent brightness levels and up to a 120Hz refresh rate. With HDR10+ support and a sharp FHD+ resolution, this fella delivers a fantastic visual experience.
The Motorola phone is also quite durable. It has an IP68 rating and Gorilla Glass 3 protection for solid protection against scratches. And with such high water and dust resistance, an accidental drop in water shouldn’t do major damage. When it comes to performance, this device is no benchmark winner, as evident in our Edge (2024) review. Of course, raw numbers don’t tell the full picture, and you’ll find its Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip more than decent for everyday use. Expect no stutter while navigating the UI and even some gaming potential, albeit at lowered settings.
At the end of the day, the Edge (2024) might be easy to overlook when it’s not on sale, but now that it’s bundled with a fantastic $349.99 gift, it’s more than worth checking out. Get yours and score a free Lenovo Tab Plus while Motorola’s promo lasts.

Generous deal turns the Motorola Edge (2024) into the most powerful phone below $200
Just like Motorola’s latest mid-ranger, the Edge (2024) is discounted at both the official store and Amazon, but with a massive $250 price drop, bringing it below the $300 mark. And if you have a phone to trade, you could slash an additional $100 off by trading it in with Motorola. The tech giant claims that most trade-ins qualify for a $100 discount, so chances are high you could save that amount by parting with your old smartphone.

Motorola is offering a hefty $250 discount on its Edge (2024), letting you score one for just under $300. On top of that, you could save an additional $100 by trading in your old phone. All this makes the Edge (2024) an absolute steal, so, don’t miss out!

Alternatively, you can score a brand-new Motorola Edge (2024) on Amazon, where the phone is selling for $250 off as well.
Buy at Amazon
Sure, our friend here may be an older device, but it still holds its ground, making it an absolute steal. For instance, it comes equipped with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and 8GB of RAM, delivering speedy performance on a phone that could be yours for less than $200. In fact, we even managed to run demanding games like League of Legends: Wild Rift during our in-depth review, so it’s probably the most powerful phone under $200 right now.
We were also quite pleased with its gorgeous 6.6-inch P-OLED display featuring a 2400 x 1080 resolution and HDR support. The screen delivers beautiful visuals that you rarely see on phones below the $200 mark. To top it all off, there’s a high 144Hz refresh rate, making scrolling a breeze.
Of course, since this is a mid-range phone, the area where it falls short is the camera department. Yet you still get a capable 50MP main unit on board, which takes pretty decent photos even though it can’t rival the best camera phones on the market.
So, should you buy the Motorola Edge (2024)? Well, you definitely should get one while it’s still available for up to $350 off. Just don’t wait around too long, as you never know when these unmissable deals may become a thing of the past.

T-Mobile will likely never bring satellite internet to many Samsung and Motorola phones
T-Mobileinitially planned to launch satellite internet in October, but is ahead of schedule. It has teamed up with Google to allow the Google Maps, Google Messages, and Find Hub apps to use satellite data on the Pixel 10.
As PCMag first reported, the company has updated its website to provide more information. The company has started rolling out satellite internet for compatible devices and apps.
- iPhone 13, iPhone 14, iPhone 15, and iPhone 16
- Pixel 9 series
- Motorola moto edge 2025, moto g 5G 2025, moto g power 5G 2025, moto razr 2025, moto razr+ 2025, and moto razr ultra 2025
- Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25 Edge
- Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24 FE
- Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23 FE
- Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S22 FE
- Galaxy S21 FE
- Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy Z Flip7, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Fold7
- Galaxy A15 5G, Galaxy A16 5G SE, Galaxy A25 SE, Galaxy A35, Galaxy A36 SE, Galaxy A53, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A56 5G SE,, Galaxy XCover6 Pro, Galaxy XCover7 Pro
- T-Mobile REVVL 7, REVVL 7 Pro, and REVVL 8
T-Mobile‘s satellite-powered texting was limited to a handful of phones in the beginning, but the feature is now available on many older phones as well. The same may not be true for T-Satellite data, with T-Mobile explicitly stating on its website that the following phones won’t get the feature:
- Google Pixel 9a
- Motorola moto g 2024, moto razr 2024, moto razr+ 2024, moto edge 2024 and moto g stylus 2024
- Samsung Galaxy A14, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip3, Galaxy Z Flip4, Galaxy Z Fold3, and Galaxy Z Fold4
T-Mobile hasn’t mentioned why only some devices will be supported, and its strategy isn’t clear. For instance, while 2021’s iPhone 13 will get the feature, the same isn’t true for the Galaxy S21, which was released the same year, or even the Razr 2024.
Regulatory hurdles might be holding T-Mobile back, or it’s possible that enabling support for data is harder than rolling out text support. After all, most of the phones that T-Mobile says won’t get satellite data do support SMS and MMS.
Either way, this is more of a life-saving feature than anything else, and in most cases, texting should suffice. T-Mobile notes that this isn’t high-speed data, as expected, and will only work for satellite-optimized apps. The company is currently working with app developers to optimize apps, and it’s prioritizing essential apps such as messaging, maps, and weather for now.
We have reached out to T-Mobile for comment and will update the story if we get a response.

Flip phones are getting much better in 2025 with thinner designs, bigger cover screens and longer-lasting batteries, but are the cameras better too?
With two main cameras, these two deliver excellent quality, but they both lack the telephoto camera you get on a regular slab phone.
Motorola Razr Ultra (2025)

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 vs Motorola Razr Ultra Camera Specs:
| Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 | Motorola Razr Ultra (2025) |
|---|---|
| Main Camera 50 MP Aperture size: F1.8 Focal length: 24 mm Sensor size: 1/1.56″ | Main Camera 50 MP Aperture size: F1.8 Focal length: 24 mm Sensor size: 1/1.56″ |

Both phones have roughly the same size main camera sensor: 1/1.56″, which is a slightly smaller size than the typical 1/1.3″ sensors used on your iPhone Pro Maxes and Galaxy Ultra devices.
But not having a dedicated telephoto lens means zoom quality is only decent in the 1X to 3X zoom range, but once you start zooming further you will notice detail falls apart quickly.
