This brings the $1,199.99 list price down to $824.99, which… doesn’t quite make the Tab S10 Ultra a traditionally affordable tablet. But it makes it a lot cheaper than this year’s Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, which isn’t significantly better than (or very different from) its predecessor.
At 825 bucks, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra (with 256GB storage and a built-in stylus) is currently more affordable than the Apple M5-powered iPad Pro (2025) with both 11 and 13-inch displays (and no included pen or keyboard), so if you think you need that much screen real estate for Christmas, now’s definitely the time to pull the trigger and save the big bucks.
This is (technically) not a Black Friday 2025 promotion, mind you, but rather a Best Buy deal of the day… that could well go unbeaten come Black Friday and Cyber Monday in a few weeks. You obviously only have a few hours to take advantage of it, and with just one storage variant and one Moonstone Gray color option available at that huge aforementioned $375 discount, there’s clearly a strong possibility that the deal will go away before the end of the day.

The Tab S10 Ultra is of course not just massive, but remarkably thin as well, at 5.4mm, and not that heavy (for its screen size, at least), at 718 grams. Its body is predictably made from a super-premium combination of metal and glass, the 11,200mAh battery under the hood is guaranteed to get you through a day’s work (and entertainment) with ease, and the 45W charging technology is only matched by the Galaxy S25 Plus and S25 Ultra while eclipsing the regular S25’s capabilities.

Walmart is diving into the world of agentic AI, as it invests in artificial intelligence to improve operations. Through a partnership with OpenAI, the retailer is enabling shoppers to make store purchases using ChatGPT.
Using ChatGPT’s new “Instant Checkout” feature, shoppers in conversation with the AI-powered bot will be able to browse Walmart’s offerings and complete purchases from within the app.
ChatGPT first announced “Instant Checkout” last month. The shopping feature lets users query ChatGPT for things like “best mattress under $1,000” or “gift for an avid reader,” and buy suggested products from within the chat, without having to navigate outside the app.
With the Walmart partnership, the AI-driven shopping experience “allows customers and Sam’s Club members to plan meals, restock essentials, or discover new products simply by chatting — Walmart will take care of the rest,” the retail giant said Tuesday.
Walmart touts the move as a push beyond traditional e-commerce search tools that retrieve products solely based on consumers requests. “AI will learn and predict customers’ needs, turning shopping from a reactive experience into a proactive one — what Walmart calls agentic commerce,” the company said Tuesday.
Walmart CEO Doug McMillon said the consumer-facing enhancement is long overdue.
“For many years now, eCommerce shopping experiences have consisted of a search bar and a long list of item responses. That is about to change … We are running toward that more enjoyable and convenient future with Sparky and through partnerships including this important step with OpenAI,” he said in a statement Tuesday.
Sparky is Walmart’s generative AI-powered shopping assistant, designed to deliver more conversational and personalized shopping assistance.
Sam Altman, cofounder and CEO of OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT, touted the partnership with Walmart as one that makes “everyday purchases a little simpler.”
E-commerce giant Amazon is also making a foray into the world of so-called agentic AI, in which bots replace humans. Through its “Buy for Me” feature in the Amazon Shopping App, shoppers can buy goods from vendors selling products that aren’t available on Amazon.com without leaving the Amazon ecosystem.
“If a customer decides to proceed with a Buy for Me purchase, they tap on the Buy for Me button on the product detail page to request Amazon make the purchase from the brand retailer’s website on their behalf,” Amazon explains on its corporate website. “Customers are taken to an Amazon checkout page where they confirm order details, including preferred delivery address, applicable taxes and shipping fees, and payment method.”

That’s because the Galaxy S26 Ultra could cost even more than $1,300 in an entry-level configuration and keep you waiting at least a few additional months for a discount of $100 or $200 (let alone $400). You can currently save the four Benjamins on the S25 Ultra at both Amazon and Best Buy in both 256 and 512GB storage variants, although depending on your retailer of choice, your luck, and your speed, you might not be able to choose your favorite colorway at a massively reduced price.
Now, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is obviously still not a conventionally affordable smartphone, but that’s because I’m not sure you can call it a conventionally… anything device. That screen is absolutely huge (by any standards) and incredibly smooth, the built-in S Pen (pretty much) as sophisticated and as handy as always, the 200 + 10 + 50 + 50MP quad rear-facing camera system exactly as advanced and as versatile as it sounds, and the long-term software support essentially unrivaled in today’s mobile industry.

Will you be able to save even more than $400 on probably the best Android phone out there come Black Friday and Cyber Monday in a few weeks? Naturally, I can’t give you a definitive answer, but Best Buy is explicitly labeling this offer as an early Black Friday 2025 “doorbuster”, so I highly doubt any improvement is in the pipeline there.
The same could well be true for Amazon, which has never sold the S25 Ultra at higher discounts than this, but Samsung’s official US e-store has and will probably do it again, so if you don’t mind doing your shopping there, you should… act accordingly.

Despite what that name might suggest (which is not technically the product’s official marketing label), the 12-inch Windows-powered slate is not necessarily better than last year’s 13-inch Surface Pro (11th Edition). But it is newer, thinner, a lot lighter, and perhaps most importantly, cheaper, currently costing $749.99 instead of its $899.99 list price in two different versions.
You’ve got the solo tablet with 16GB RAM and 512 gigs of internal storage space, as well as a 2-in-1 package including a 256GB data-accommodating model with the same memory count and a productivity-enhancing keyboard.
I honestly don’t know which option to recommend to you as a smarter buy right now, as ultimately your decision will depend entirely on how you use your tablet and what’s more important for you. If it’s a full-blown laptop replacement you’re after, the keyboard bundle is obviously the better choice, while folks who tend to watch more movies or play more games on this type of device than write stuff or complete various work tasks on the go will probably go for the solo 12-incher.
Either way, you’ll save big on what’s arguably one of the best tablets around today without jumping through hoops or waiting for a new round of Amazon deals closer to Christmas. Amazon, by the way, has the non-keyboard-including 512GB Surface Pro 12 variant listed at the same $150 discount as Best Buy right now, but technically, that offer is handled by a slightly less trustworthy third-party seller.

Despite what the name suggests, Amazon’s latest Prime Day event is a 48-hour affair, kicked off yesterday and scheduled to end later today. And despite what you might think after checking out about a million different Amazon Prime-exclusive deals on our little website here over the last 30 hours or so (at the time of this writing), other retailers are currently running interesting pre-holiday offers of their own on various compelling tech products.

For some reason, this device is not and has never been sold by Amazon at any price and in any storage variant, which makes it easy for Best Buy to capture the limelight as far as one of the greatest Android tablets out there is concerned right now.
Of course, the Tab S10 Ultra is available from the likes of Walmart and Samsung’s official US website, but those places have nothing on Best Buy’s generosity today. Walmart, mind you, has sold the gargantuan slate at hefty discounts a few times in recent months, never quite reaching this $350 record.

As you can imagine, Best Buy’s “Techtober” promotion doesn’t require a Prime (or equivalent) membership, thus allowing anyone to minimize their spending months before Christmas without jumping through any hoops whatsoever.
Before pulling the trigger, you’ll obviously have to decide if the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is the best tablet for you. Although I can’t predict the future, I certainly wouldn’t be surprised if this offer stayed unbeaten through the end of the year, as the Idea Tab Plus felt (to me, at least) impressively affordable from its commercial debut. Said debut happened just a few weeks ago, mind you, so I really didn’t expect to see the $289.99 list price of the brand-new 12.1-inch mid-ranger drop to a measly $229.99 already.
Your 230 bucks are enough for a display that’s not only large, but extremely sharp and smooth too, at a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and 90Hz refresh rate capabilities. Then you’ve got an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor that’s clearly no rival for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 inside the aforementioned Lenovo Yoga Tab, but definitely not a pushover either, especially in combination with a more than respectable 8GB RAM count.

The 128 gigs of internal storage space are also respectable (at the very least), and the same goes for the quad Dolby Atmos-tuned speaker system. The 10,200mAh battery, meanwhile, is… worthy of a different label, especially when you consider the waist of the Lenovo Idea Tab Plus, which sits at 6.29mm at the slate’s thinnest point. Oh, and the surprisingly hefty cell also supports blazing fast 45W charging.
The cherry on top of this bad boy’s value proposition is undeniably a handy Lenovo Tab Pen, which is included at no extra cost. The same is true for Samsung’s iconic S Pen and the Galaxy Tab S10 FE mid-ranger, but that thing is a lot more expensive, and I doubt it will ever get as affordable as the Idea Tab Plus. Let alone as early as tomorrow.

If I ask you what is the best Android tablet out there right now, I’m willing to bet that the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite isn’t even going to cross your mind as a top ten candidate. For the first time in these few weeks since its commercial debut, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite can be had at a discount with no (other) accessories bundled in and no strings attached. Unsurprisingly, we’re not talking about a very hefty discount here, but it’s definitely better to be able to save 30 bucks than… nothing.
Amazon is letting you slash $30 off the $349.99 and $419.99 list prices of this slate in 128 and 256GB storage variants respectively, and no, you don’t need a Prime membership to qualify for the e-commerce giant’s unprecedented and presumably unbeatable deal.
Yes, I’m pretty sure this price cut will go undefeated during Amazon’s 48-hour Prime Day extravaganza this week, although I obviously can’t guarantee anything, so if you want to be certain, it might be wise to wait until Tuesday. Just don’t be surprised if the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite goes out of stock before then. In fact, the entry-level model is already available in a single gray colorway, with the costlier variant still allowing bargain hunters to choose from three different paint jobs.
In addition to the aforementioned 10.9-inch display, the Tab S10 Lite undeniably shines in the build quality department with a decidedly premium combination of aluminum and glass while promising… not to disappoint as far as battery life and charging speeds are concerned.

Life is wonderful and full of paradoxes, puzzles and enigmas. Paradoxes provide the extra flavor. Like the story I’m about to tell you regarding the newest iPhone 17 and (considered by some) the most popular US carrier, T-Mobile.
While the iPhone 17 is so good that T-Mobile just went through its “biggest iPhone weekend” ever, there’s another Apple-related story that involves the Magenta carrier:
So, which one is it?! Is everybody getting an iPhone 17 from T-Mobile, or is the carrier behaving outrageously? Or both?
The T-Mobile way

Imagine this: you’re at a T-Mobile store, eager to get your hands on the latest iPhone 17 Pro. The excitement is palpable. But then, the salesperson drops a bombshell that you can’t buy this phone unless you also purchase an accessory.
Now, this isn’t a third-party retailer; it’s a corporate T-Mobile store. A place where, one would assume, customer choice reigns supreme.
But no. Instead, you’re being told that you need to spend more money on accessories you may not need or want. It’s like going to a restaurant and being told you can’t order just the steak unless you also buy a bowl of french fries, or some slobbery salad from days ago. Well, I mean, you might be into greens, but shouldn’t that be your choice?This isn’t an isolated incident. Reports have surfaced of T-Mobile reps being under pressure to meet sales metrics, leading them to push accessories onto customers. In some cases, reps have been reprimanded for selling phones without bundling them with accessories.
Every business wants to boost sales, I get it; but this approach feels more like a coercive sales tactic than a customer-first strategy.
Here’s the “scratch-prone” iPhone 17

Here is where the iPhone 17 Pro itself comes into the story. Apple has touted its new aluminum design as a step forward in durability. However, reports indicate that the new Pro models are scratching with surprising ease.

So, what’s the solution? According to many, it’s simple: buy a case. But here’s the kicker – T-Mobile is now allegedly refusing to sell you the iPhone 17 Pro unless you also purchase an accessory.It’s almost as if they’re anticipating the scratches and are preemptively nudging you toward a solution they conveniently offer…This raises a pertinent question: If a phone is so prone to scratching that the carrier won’t sell it to you without a case, is it really a premium product? Shouldn’t a device costing a small fortune be able to withstand the rigors of daily use without turning into a scratched-up relic within days (the iPhone 17 hit stores on September 19, which is way less than a week, currently)…
The forced bundle that’s almost justified

It’s one thing to offer accessories as an upsell. It’s another to make them a prerequisite for purchasing a product. While T-Mobile‘s alleged policy might be legal, it certainly doesn’t feel ethical.
Look, the customer should be free. Free to grab the phone and stride out into the world without being strong-armed into a shopping cart full of extra stuff gizmos. If the iPhone 17 can survive life without a case glued to its back, that ought to be the baseline. No footnotes, no fine print, no sneaky nudge.
And yet… here’s the rub. Maybe T-Mobile isn’t entirely in the wrong. After all, if the iPhone 17 Pro is as delicate as the rumors suggest – prone to scratches, prone to paint peeling – a case isn’t just a nice-to-have. It’s practically a survival kit.
In the end, maybe it’s not just the iPhone that needs protection – maybe the whole buying experience could use a case, a helmet, and a small warning label about corporate overreach.

Visible is an all-digital mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) owned by Verizon. The MVNO designation means that Visible itself doesn’t own a network, it doesn’t have any spectrum licenses, and owns no cell towers. Big changes for Visible have started to take place. You can now subscribe to Visible through the BestBuy.com website. From the big box retailer’s website, you can determine whether your current device is compatible with Visible or shop around for unlocked phones that are compatible with Visible. It doesn’t matter if your phone uses a physical SIM card or an embedded SIM (eSIM). Each Visible SIM Kit bundle includes both an eSIM activation code and a physical SIM. You’ll be walked through the process of installing whichever SIM works for your phone.

On September 28th, Visible will debut in Best Buy stores nationwide, which will be the digital carrier’s first presence in the world of physical retail stores. This is a big deal for Visible subscribers since it allows them to keep all of the advantages of being subscribed to a digital wireless provider, such as the ability to manage their account at any moment in the day or night without having to deal with a rep. But for those times when you need help from someone right in front of you, there are over 1,000 Best Buy locations nationwide.
Visible says that its core beliefs have not changed despite Visible’s presence in Best Buy stores. Those beliefs are:
